Welcome to Northern Elite Sailing, where our mission is to provide a safe, challenging and educational environment during training and competition. To promote sportsmanship and aim to foster a lifelong interest in sailing while providing a pathway for athletes interested in performing at the highest level within Canada.

Whether you're a seasoned racer or an aspiring weekend warrior, we can help you. We offer professional and independent coaching. Our staff will travel to your location to provide private or group coaching. Our staff specializes in Laser and Club 420 boats, but our expertise can be applied to all dinghies, catamarans and keel boats.
MEET YOUR COACH
​My name is Bradley Sheppard, my sailing opportunities started at the local sailing summer camp just like most of you. I quickly discovered racing and loved it from the moment I experienced my first start. Looking back in my racing resume, I experienced so much for someone who lived in Northern Ontario and a non sailing community. In 2012, I committed to the Ontario Sailing Laser Team where I learned from and trained with the best sailors in Canada for 3 years. I had ambitions about joining the National Team, but university quickly made me realize that I must plan for the future. This is where I truly found a passion for teaching and coaching the next great Canadian sailors.
I have gained extensive experience coaching all CanSail Levels (1-6) over the past 6 years, and I am a certified Sail Canada Learning Facilitator and Instructor Evaluator. I am excited to share my passion for sailing and competition with you through Northern Elite Sailing, my private coaching company.
